ooc: quick guide to the crazy girls of ANGERME...

(( I've whipped up a mini guide on ANGERME, the group formerly known as S/mileage, for anyone curious about the group or interested in the other members. ^^

In a nutshell, though they've revamped and become a more "performance driven" group, ANGERME still maintains their lax, joking, laidback attitude as a whole. There is basically very little stress on the senior-junior relationships which makes them a foil to the more serious and "stoic" Morning Musume. S/mileage was known for their cute bubbly songs while ANGERME has taken on a variety of styles and strives to be a "cool" group.

S/mileage's staple songs include Yume Miru 15sai, Shortcut, Yattaruchan and Ee ka!?.

ANGERME's signature song is Taiki Bansei which is now their best selling single. Their most recent single is Desugita Kui wa Utarenai / Dondengaeshi.

A to-the-point summary of their long and kind of complicated history can be found here! Great places for current ANGERME (and other Hello!Pro related) news are JPLOP and Hello!Online (the website has a neat picboard that gets updated very quickly), both forums are updated regularly and keep on beat with updates. Blog!Project is a good place for reading blog translations, though they're not updated regularly. Depending on the member some fans will translate her blogs regularly and post them to their respective Hello!Online thread and/or tumblr on the ANGERME tag.
